The Power of Kindness!October 09, 2020
In today’s world, love goes a long way. We could use a little extra kindness each day! A smile can change someone’s mood—and yours.
Let’s take a look at the power of kindness, and how practicing random acts of kindness actually improves your mental health!
Kindness & Happiness
When we project positivity into the world and act kindly toward others, we feel happier. We also create more positive bonds with others, making us more open to friendship, connection, and uplifting conversations. Be kind and you become a magnet for positivity in your world!
Have you ever had a bad day, but decided to turn it around by smiling at someone and giving them a compliment? You’ll remember how much lighter this made you feel—and, of course, them! Plus, when we are kind to others, it inspires others to be kinder, too.
Smiling & Laughter
When we’re kind to others, we are going to be smiling more, too. There’s a reason they say, “laughter is the best medicine”! Laughter and smiling is good for your health, relaxing the body, boosting the immune system, and releasing endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemical.
