Lionwood COVID-19 Response
Update June 30:
To All Residents, Family Members and Team Members at Lionwood,
We want to let you know that a resident at the community has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is receiving care away from the community and I am sure you will join me in wishing them well. We are now reaching out to anyone who may have come in contact with this resident.
Last night we had the apartment where the resident who tested positive lives and the community common areas treated by SERVPRO, a national remediation and restoration company that specializes in health care sanitation and decontamination services using EPA approved methods. Their work aligns with the protocols set by the Centers for Disease Control. SERVPRO is a trusted leader in the industry, used by hospitals and health care facilities around the country.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are planning to test all residents and team members at the community for the virus. We are working out the details of the testing now and we will communicate them as soon as they are finalized. We believe that by testing everyone we will be able to act quickly and make any operational changes needed. We will also continue with our daily temperature checks, and we ask that you alert us immediately if you have any symptoms of illness.
We will also be temporarily returning to our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol and ask that residents remain in their apartments for now. We will be delivering meals to apartments effective immediately.
We will continue to provide updates with any new information.
