Meet Charisa Coxen, Executive Director at Sheldon Park
Charisa began working at Sheldon Park in 2004 as a caregiver at age 19. Since then, she has served many roles, including Medication Tech, Health Services Assistant, Memory Care Administrator. In 2009, Charisa earned her LPN license and in 2014, she became Sheldon Park's Executive Director. Charisa and her fiance Alexander love to go fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, and work on home projects. They have a great love of animals and have four dogs between the two of them. Charisa feels blessed everyday to have the support, guidance, and opportunity of Blue Harbor. She says, "After working at Sheldon Park for 12 years, this community is truly my family. Each resident has their own story and we love to celebrate them, hear and share their stories, and continue their independence. Our residents are so special and really help support each other as well."
I couldn’t be happier with Sheldon Park. The smiling employees at the front door make you feel right at home. The staff is so caring and provides the best personalized care.
